This event is an opportunity to celebrate the notion of chosen family and found family being a centerpiece of queer and trans community-building and support. While we invite blood-families to attend this even in support of LGBTQ Youth (parents, siblings, niblings, etc...) we take Friendsgiving as an opportunity to elevate the notion of framily: the critical importance of exchanging compassion, love, and support to people in our community who aren't always given a seat at Holiday tables to bring their full selves. With various stations and games that are affirming, educational, and fun, join us at Neighborhood Church (an inclusive and affirming space) and plan to have a great time. Food, Fun, A DJ, and, of course, Framily!
