There are many stories in scripture we don’t know how to make sense of, many of them dealing with violence in its various forms. How do we make sense or even begin conversations around these difficult passages? This two-week experience will center around two stories addressing domestic violence toward women in the book of Judges. These sessions are designed to have conversation around scripture and listen to each other along the way. If you’ve ever struggled to make sense of some of these things, or would like to encounter some new practices to understanding scripture, this is the group for you.

The two-week session will take place October 27th and November 3rd from 6:30-8:00 in the Commons Meeting Room. Due to the nature of these conversations there will also be a certified counselor there for support as we journey through the text. Snacks and childcare will also be provided!
